Distinguished Scientists, Academics, Stakeholders, Artists and Researchers in the Field of Communication

International Cinema Symposium will be held between 8-11 March 2022 online in digital environment in cooperation with the Near East University Faculty of Communication and Communication Research Center (CRC-ILAMER) due to the adverse conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The symposium is supported by "Turkish World Documentary Film Festival", "Turkish World Culture, Art and Cinema Foundation" and "Communication Research Association".

The theme of the symposium this year focuses on the concept of “NEW”. The 2nd International Cinema Symposium aims to open the concept of “NEW” to scientific and artistic discussion on the axis of cinema this year.
The organizing committee, which set out with this goal, in addition to collaborating with many stakeholders that contribute to cinema, has also succeeded in gaining the support of many universities in order to bring the discussion topics to the academic platform. Although the symposium is in its second year, apart from the universities of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, it is supported by distinguished universities of many countries such as Turkey, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The symposium is open to the participation of researchers, academicians, students and artists from all fields of social sciences. In addition to being free to participate in the symposium, free publication opportunities will be provided for academics who meet the necessary conditions and want to have their works published.
